The Rose Myrtle Hills

The rose myrtle hills,
dear the rose myrtle hills,
which purples the endless afternoon skies
About an old story,
a lady who loves the purple rose
when her bun was still shoulder-length
There were times of marching on the front-line
He couldn’t promise a day to come back
But on a windy afternoon
From the east-north battlefield
Comes the time to visit his hometown
But sunset has faded away behind the hill

The marching noons,
dear the marching noons,
which purples the endless skies
A rainy evening in the forest,
with the news that his lover has passed away
The dream splits into two!
Without hearing her last words
Didn’t get the chance to see her once,
even just one simple chance.
The soldier didn’t die in the fire
but death came to his young lover at the rear area…

The soldier returns to the purple hills, without his innocent lover
Dear the rose hill, which runs and fades into the dark skyline

Back then, he used to tell her…
About someone who hasn’t returned,
and missed out on his destined love and dreams
What does he say to the wind?
A forest full of roses so an evening walk
couldn’t cover them all

Purple is the hollow evening
Now purple is the hollow evening
Where he sits by her grave
Since the ceremony, she did not have a wedding dress
But dashes of sadness on the eyelids
The cold smoke releases from the endless incense
Yellow grasses fill her grave
The way back is boundless
The purple hill is still in the old path
But without the old lover,
The hill withers in desolation
